I have an obsession for buying magazines. It started as a teenager and as a result my bedroom is littered with old mags. Even now I can’t part with my favourites and reading them has become a guilty pleasure. I also love picking up issues while traveling and always have a good selection on hand to keep me company during train rides and plane flights. I love Zone Senior Editor Lauren Bravo's article about her passion for British Vogue. She touched on something that, to me at least, has always been true. The magazine worldwide has the ability to stay on trend fashion wise while including smart, witty and intelligent articles covering and featuring a range of issues and people. This month British Vogue continues to push the boundaries with swimwear model Kate Upton. The 20-year-old nabbed the cover of 2012 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition and is now setting herself up for high fashion gigs. Editor Alexandra Shulman says she hopes her choice will spark a change in the fashion world. Perhaps Anna is next? For me, Vogue is at the forefront of my magazine collection. What is yours?
i know the feeling, i still have magazines i bought with my pocket money when i was about 13 cluttering up my life, haha. also picking up new ones you've never seen before is so great! x
